Giving back to the community

Giving back has always been a part of who we are at Entrepôt Auto Durocher. As a people-centred company, we see it as our duty to be involved in our community. For every vehicle sold, we make a donation to Fondation Maxime-Letendre. In addition, every two months, we do a “jeans day” where employees can wear jeans and make a small $5 contribution, the total of which is given to the foundation at the end of the year. This year, we’re organizing a benefit dinner with the theme Oyster Party. At our last event, we were able to give a cheque for $50,000 to Moisson Laval.

Fondation Maxime-Letendre

A cause close to our hearts

We are proud to have promoted and contributed to Fondation Maxime-Letendre for a decade now. This foundation was created after Maxime’s battle with the devastating disease of cancer as his loved ones looked for a way to prevent others from going through the same experience and to deal with their pain and sadness. It is also a way for Maxime to live on through the work of the foundation.

The foundation’s mission is to raise money to improve patients’ quality of life at the Centre intégré de cancérologie de Laval (CICL). A part of Laval’s integrated health and social services centre (CISSS), it provides support to immediate family members. It offers an oasis away from the physical and psychological challenges of cancer, by providing support and comfort to cancer patients and their family members. This valuable support helps bolster hope. This service is offered to cancer patients receiving treatment in the territory served by the CISSS de Laval.

We are proud to have raised a total of $220,854 for the foundation thus far.
