That allows us to exist
At Auto Durocher, giving back has always been paramount. We have a duty to be involved in our community; we are a company with a heart. For every vehicle sold, we donate an amount to the Maxime-Letendre Foundation. Furthermore, every two months, we hold a “jeans day”, allowing employees to wear jeans for a small $5 fee, which is donated to the foundation at the end of the year. Each year, we organize a fundraising dinner themed “oyster party”. At our last event, we donated a check in the amount of $50,000 to Moisson Laval.
A cause close to our heart
For over a decade, we have been proud to share and participate in the Maxime-Letendre Foundation. This foundation was born following Maxime’s fight against the devastating disease of cancer and the will of his loved ones to challenge fate and overshadow grief and pain. It aims to offer Maxime a chance to live again through his foundation.
The foundation’s mission is to raise funds to improve the quality of life for patients at the Laval Integrated Cancer Center (CICL). Also linked to the Laval Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSS), it provides support to their immediate family members. Indeed, it offers an oasis to the physical and psychological suffering of people with cancer, supporting and comforting them and their family members. This valuable support aims to maintain hope. This service is exclusive to cancer patients treated in the territory served by the Laval Health and Social Services Center.
To date, we are pleased to have raised a total of $220,854 for the foundation.
